The automatic racking system consists of 1 or 2 motorized slab-holding elements (according to the length and to the overall capacity) and of 1 or 2 fixed slab-holding elements, at the ends, which work as mechanical stop and as safety barriers (the number of fixed elements depends on the position of the machine in the factory).

Functioning
In the automatic version, each element is connected to the next one through a mechanical system. The automatic racking systems have no handles and the release is automatically performed through a translator which works in the lower part of the machine. The selection is automatic as well: after having restored the safety devices, the operator simply needs to select the element where he wants to create the corridor on the touch-screen panel. Then, the machine performs the operation in complete autonomy. The automatic racking system is recommended with different machines working in parallel (that is to simultaneously open several machineries) or in case of very long machines.
